Pay your food via social media

In London there has been a pop-up restaurant that lets customers pay with Instagram pictures. Instagram is full of pictures of food. A pop-up diner in London took advantage of this hype by letting people settle the bill by uploading photos to Instagram. It’s the world’s first pay-by-picture restaurant, called The Picutre House.

So what happens in this restaurant?
– Diners will be served meals and encouraged to snap photos of their food
– If they upload these photos to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using the #BirdsEyeInspiration hashtag, the customer won’t have to pay.
– A food photographer will give tips to diners at the Soho restaurant.

After London the pop-up location moved to Manchester and Leeds within a month.
